How it all began
The Formica’s Kitchen legacy began in 1956 in a small single-room workshop. Patsy Formica, a decorated veteran, dreamed of providing a better life for his young family. With calloused hands and a passion to become the very best, he built a business he could be proud of. As customers grew to recognize his superior craftsmanship, they also appreciated the integrity that defined his personal and professional life.

We’ve grown, but our mission remains the same
We’ve grown through the years, now occupying nearly an entire city block of showrooms, workshops, warehouses, and garages. But our commitment to superior craftsmanship and unmatched customer service haven’t changed a bit. In 1990, Patsy handed daily operations down to his son Carmen, who leads the team to this day. Like his father, he’s a member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association and a Certified Kitchen Designer.

Daniel J. Formica
Following in the footsteps of his father, Danny is the third generation, working in the family business for many years. Danny is the Operations Manager for Kitchen Installations, taking a very hands-on role in the process from sales to project completion. He has completed continuing education classes for Wood-Mode Custom Cabinetry and Crystal Cabinets.
